In Mianyang, Sichuan, a modern benchmark project for the comprehensive utilization of construction solid waste resources is accelerating its construction. The Mianyang West City Construction Solid Waste Disposal Site Project, with Shanghai Shanmei Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. (Shanmei Co., Ltd.) as the general contractor providing full sets of core equipment and process solutions, has a total investment of about 276 million yuan and a total land area of 73,700 square meters, with an annual processing capacity of up to 2 million tons. This project not only fills the local gap in construction waste disposal, but also injects strong green momentum into the construction of Mianyang’s “Zero-Waste City”.
Project Overview and Industrial Closed Loop
As one of Mianyang’s first key projects for urban construction waste recycling, the disposal site aims to realize standardized, harmless and resource-based treatment of construction waste in the west urban area. The project is constructed in two phases: Phase I focuses on demolition waste and decoration waste, with annual disposal capacities of 350,000 tons and 120,000 tons respectively; Phase II targets engineering waste rock, with an annual disposal scale of 1.53 million tons. Upon full completion, the expected annual profit can reach 35 million yuan. A complete green industrial chain is built inside the project: besides one aggregate production line, one construction waste production line and one decoration waste production line, it is also equipped with two mixing plants and one water-stabilized material plant. Its service scope covers Anzhou District, High-tech Zone and Science and Technology City New Area. It will effectively ease the pressure of regional construction solid waste treatment and realize the whole-process connection from “solid waste receiving” to “recycled building materials delivery”.
